My first blog!

 Hi, everyone! My name is Anthony Montella, I am a sophomore here at Purdue Northwest. Deciding what to write about in my first entry was a tough decision, considering this is one of the first times I've ever done something like this before. I'm delighted to share my thoughts on things that generally interest me, and whatever pops up to my head to my peers. So let's begin!

The following video is my favorite song, from my favorite band (even though technically it's just him, and his fellow members only come along for live shows. It's complicated) Anyways, this is Tame Impala. Actually, while I'm writing this blog, I am listening to them. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I'll take my phone out and put his entire discography on shuffle. It's hard to explain, his music puts you in a trans. I feel so immersed into his music. Would it be a stretch to say his music has changed my entire view on music as a whole? No, not at all. My standards are so incredibly high because of this man, if you haven't I would recommend to give his music a listen. You will not regret it.

This post was basically a more in depth look on what I was thinking on earlier in the day, since we did jot down our thoughts at that moment for about three minutes. So I thought it would be interesting to share this with the rest of you, and have it tie into our class discussion as well. Moreover, I am genuinely excited to continue learning in this class, and to soon start our first ever project. Considering we go over many different kinds of films, and documentaries, I already knew I was going to enjoy the experience. So, yeah. That'll be it for this post!
